Refund & Returns Policy for MawMaw’s Market LLC

MawMaw’s Market LLC provides high-quality fresh and frozen foods. Because our products are perishable, certain restrictions apply to refunds and returns. Please review this policy before completing a purchase.


1. All Sales on Perishable Food Items Are Final

Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on any fresh or frozen food items once they leave our store.
This includes:

  • Fresh-prepared foods

  • Frozen meals

  • Produce

  • Meat products

  • Dairy items

  • Any refrigerated or temperature-sensitive foods

This policy ensures the highest level of food safety for all customers.


2. Refunds for Quality Issues

If you believe a product is defective, unsafe, or not up to standard, contact us within 24 hours of purchase.

A refund or replacement may be issued if:

  • A verified defect is confirmed

  • The item was damaged before leaving the store

  • The issue is validated by management

To review your claim, we may request:

  • Your name

  • Date of purchase

  • Description of the issue

  • A photo of the product

  • Packaging, if available

All quality-based refund decisions are made at the discretion of MawMaw’s Market LLC.


3. Refunds for Order Errors

If we fulfill your order incorrectly, we will:

  • Replace the incorrect item at no cost
    or

  • Provide a refund for the affected item

Please notify us within 24 hours of discovering the issue.


4. No Refunds for Improper Handling After Pickup

Once items leave our store, the customer is fully responsible for:

  • Proper storage

  • Refrigeration or freezing

  • Safe transportation

  • Timely consumption

We cannot issue refunds for spoilage or damage due to improper handling after pickup or delivery.


5. Order Cancellations
A. In-Store Purchases

These purchases cannot be canceled once the transaction is complete.

B. Preorders (If Applicable)

Preorders may be canceled 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in partial or no refund due to preparation costs.


6. Non-Food Items

Returns for non-perishable goods (merchandise, household items, etc.) may be accepted within 7 days if:

  • The item is unused

  • The original receipt is provided

  • The item is in original packaging

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
